TEMPORARY TATTOOS
Semi-permanent tattoos last up to 2 weeks sitting because they use natural ink derived from the Gardenia fruit (plant). The temporary tattoo is therefore not a sticker. The ink is absorbed into the upper layer of the skin (epidermis) and into Develop for 24-48 hours to a dark blue/black color, this makes the temporary tattoo water resistant and almost indistinguishable from real tattoos.

Here are some tips to ensure that your temporary tattoo lasts as long as possible:
- Choose a spot that moves little (joints) without body hair , for example your forearm
- Make sure the tattoo adheres well to the skin when placing it
- Minimize contact moments with the temporary tattoo (e.g. showering / swimming / clothing) for the first 24 hours. This can cause the temporary tattoo to start fading sooner
- Wear loose clothing the first night , because if you press your arm against another part of your body for a long time while you sleep, the temporary tattoo may rub off.
- Apply a layer of make-up powder over the temporary tattoo, this will make it less sticky and the ink will transfer less quickly

Applying the temporary tattoo takes only 2 minutes:
- You apply the tattoo with a wet cloth
- In the beginning the tattoo is still transparent and colorless
- The vegetable ink penetrates the top layer of the skin and colours your skin pigment
- After approx. 24 hours the tattoo has developed and is dark blue/black in colour (depending on your skin tone)
- The tattoo lasts up to 2 weeks and is water resistant, so you can continue to shower.

Our temporary tattoos last up to 2 weeks, depending on where you place the tattoo and daily activities. On joints or on top of body hair, the tattoos last shorter.
Do you want to remove the temporary tattoo early? Scrub gently with an exfoliant or baby oil. The temporary tattoos are made to stay on for a long time, so it may take a while before you can remove the tattoo early. So choose a nice place!
